Dr Sadia Meyer, Consultant Gynaecologist

Dr Sadia Meyer

Consultant Gynaecologist

MRCOG, MBBS, BSc

Specialist menopause care built on listening, thorough investigation, and treatment plans designed around you.

Background and experience

A career dedicated to women's health, from NHS hospitals to specialist private practice.

Dr Sadia Meyer trained at some of the UK's leading teaching hospitals, completing advanced specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology before being admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Her years of NHS practice gave her a strong clinical foundation and exposure to the full breadth of women's health, from complex surgical cases to the management of chronic gynaecological conditions. It was during this time that she recognised how many women were being underserved when it came to menopause care — dismissed, under-investigated, and left to manage life-altering symptoms without proper support.

That recognition shaped the direction of her career. Dr Meyer pursued specialist accreditation with the British Menopause Society and dedicated her practice to the area where she saw the greatest unmet need: perimenopause, menopause, and the wider hormonal changes that affect women in midlife. She brings a thorough, evidence-based approach to every consultation — combining the latest research in hormone replacement therapy, cardiovascular risk, bone health, and metabolic medicine with a deep understanding of how these changes affect daily life, relationships, and mental wellbeing.

Her philosophy is straightforward. Every consultation should be unhurried. Every patient should feel heard. And every treatment plan should be grounded in the best available evidence, tailored to the individual, and adjusted over time as needs change. Dr Meyer does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. She takes the time to investigate properly, explain clearly, and involve her patients in every decision about their care.

“Every woman deserves to be listened to and taken seriously. Too many women have spent months or years being told their symptoms are ‘just stress’ or a normal part of ageing. They are not. They are real, they are treatable, and they deserve proper attention. That is what this clinic exists to provide.”
